Nika Rejto
(pronounced "NEE-ka RIGHT-o")
has just released her second CD,
Liquid Love.
Nika is a classically-trained flutist who has devoted her musical career as an adult to jazz. She swings, she has impeccable technique, and she has a gorgeous sound. Since moving to the San Francisco Bay Area from L. A. a few years ago, she's been wowing audiences here with her exciting jazz performances.
Recently, she and pianist Taylor Eigsti have been collaborating both in live performances and in the recording studio.
Liquid Love is the first CD from this new team. Listening to it, you'll appreciate Taylor's swinging style, his mastery of his music, and his exceptional touch on the keyboard. You'll also hear the other top-notch musicians who make up Nika's band.
